Thomas Watkins has over 25 years of experience in the federal business development and government contracting arena. He spent 21 years in the Navy and the last 4 of which were as a Project Manager for buying a fleet of aircraft (E-6A) that involved the management of over 100 separate contracts with a total budget of $1.6B. In addition to working with the SBA, he has managed a total of $3.8B worth of contracts with the NSA, DLA, USDA, US Army, USMC, and USN as well as 54 other clients. In the past he has been the publisher of a trade journal and currently writes articles and lectures on government contracting for a variety of outlets.
